Top bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut scored many unusual hits in the recent years after which she emerged as one of the highest paid and leading actress in Indian cinema. She has been lined up with many interesting projects and she even revealed that she will soon turn director. Kangana Ranaut recently announced her next project Manikarnika which will be directed by Tollywood director Krish. The movie even had a grand launch in Varanasi and is about the life story of Rani Laxmibhai of Jhansi. Kangana Ranaut is all set to reprise the role of the warrior queen.

Critically acclaimed and top director Ketan Mehta slammed the actress with a legal notice that she gave her nod for his script which is based on Rani Laxmibhai. He even mentioned that it was his ten years hardwork and the actress joined hands with another director and producer for the film. Ketan Mehta even said that he met Kangana Ranaut several times and revealed about the script and the research material that he worked on. However Kangana Ranaut said that she has not signed any deal with Ketan Mehta and he is free to direct the movie.
