Dohchay Story
Chandu (Naga Chaitanya) and his friends are into robberies to earn themselves and Chandu wants to make big as his sister is a medical student. Meera (Kriti Sanon) is a medical student who becomes a good friend of Chandu and falls for him. For no faults his father Rao Ramesh will be serving life time and Chandu finds ways to make huge money to bring his father out. Chandu involves in the robbery of Manikyam (Posani Krishna Murali) and buys many problems. The rest of the movie is how Chandu solves all the problems and ends up safe.
Dohchay Analysis :
The first half of the movie starts with a stylish robbery which brings interest. The comedy has been maintained throughout the film which brings lot of laughs. Though the movie has been predictable, the first half of the movie is quite interesting and fresh. The interval scene leaves the audience surprised.
The second half of the film starts well however it dips down in between. The narration comes down at times but the interest has been maintained throughout. The last half an hour of the movie is an asset for the film which has lot of comedy with action episodes which ends the movie on a decent note. On the whole the complete second half has been decent.
Dohchay Performance :
Naga Chaitanya has been decent and stylish throughout the movie. He has improved a lot and performed to the needed levels. Kriti Sanon is sure an asset for the film and she will soon maker her place in the big league. Posani Krishna Murali has been fantabulous as a ruthless don. All others have done a decent job.
The story of the movie is nothing new but the narration has been interesting and gripping. The screenplay and the dialogues have been written well. The music has been just ok but the songs have been picturized well. The background score of the movie has been managed well and the cinematography is an asset for the movie. The production values have been grand enough and Sudheer Varma has been completely successful in narrating a lean story line with lot of interest.
Final Word:
Dochay is sure a film with all the needed entertaining elements. Naga Chaitanya, Kriti Sanon and Posani steals the show. A decent crime comedy to watch this summer.
