Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone aren't dating

Attention gossipmongers! Here is a piece of dope that will drop your jaws in disbelief. Bollywood's much speculated lovebirds — Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone aren't dating, it seems. Heart-breaking but true!

Ranveer Singh recently refuted all claims of being romantically involved with Deepika Padukone. Talking to a news agency, Ranveer dismissed of being in a relationship with the actress.  “No (there is nothing between us). She is a very special person in my life and is a very close friend. She is one of the most wonderful people I have met. I have great amount of admiration and respect for her as an artist and as a professional. That's it,” he said.

Rumors of Ranveer dating Deepika hit the grapevine even before their 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela' days. Apparently, it was Deepika who nursed him back to health when he was diagnosed with Dengue during his “Lootera” times. The two have been spotted getting up, close and personal at many dos and events, sparking off rumors that the two might be in love.

But all that is trash, says Ranveer who objects to the two of them being called as a “couple”.

"I think people are jumping the gun. I think it is very presumptuous of people to assume that two people are romantically involved if they are seen going out together. I don't think that is correct judgment," he said.

Apparently, Ranveer-Deepika never acknowledged their relationship in public.

Ranveer- Deepika will next star together in Bhansali's magnum opus project 'Bajirao Mastani'. Ranveer will also be doing a cameo in Homi Adjania's upcoming film 'Finding Fanny', which stars Deepika in the lead.

Going by the winds of change, should we assume that Ranveer and Deepika are over and done with each other? Or should we  go by Ranveer's claim that they weren't romantically involved in the first place? Or is it another case of a flop love story? What do you think?
