United Nations' first ever Bollywood music video on gay rights featuring Indian actress Celina Jaitly has gone viral and crossed one million views online. The two and half minute video was launched by U.N. in April as part of 'Free and Equal’ campaign, for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender [LGBT] people to fight against homophobia.
Celina posted in her Twitter account expressing her gratitude and supporting her. She also hoped the video would carry a message of equality and changes the attitude towards the LGBT community. Despite getting threats from various organisations, Celina said she would continue to support the cause.
The video is about a young man who brings his boyfriend home to meet his family for the first time which is titled ‘The Welcome.’
