Phantom Story
Phantom is about Daniyal Khan (Saif Ali Khan) whose records does not exist and he has a secret operation assigned to kill the main hands behind the attacks of 26/11 in Mumbai. Daniyal takes the lead and he assassinates one by one in the list taking the operation Phantom further. And the list arrives when he enters Pakistan to kill the main culprits behind the Mumbai attack. The rest of the film is will he succeed in killing the culprits in their country. Phantom Analysis :
The first half of the film starts with the footage and pictures of 26/11 attacks in 2008. The movie catches pace with Saif has been appointed by RAW and the interesting screenplay takes the film to the next level. The nail biting narration throughout makes the film highly impressive.
The second half of the movie has been completely engaging. Though there are some dips in the second half of the film, the pre climax episodes along with an impressive climax takes the film to the next level. On the whole the complete second half reaches the expectations after a terrific first half.
Phantom Performance :
Saif Ali Khan who is struggling for success from the past few years makes his comeback with Phantom. He has been terrific throughout and he carried the entire movie on his shoulders. Saif is perfect as Daniyal Khan and his performance in the movie leaves the viewers jaw dropping. Katrina Kaif is sure an asset for the movie and she has performed to the peaks in the film. All the other characters have been written well and performed by the assigned actors.
The story of the move is based on Mumbai Avengers by S Hussain Zaidi. The screenplay and the flawless narration along with the well written dialogues are sure the main assets for the film. The music and the background score have been well suited and the cinematography is an added element for the movie. The production values have been grand enough and the director Kabir Khan needs a special mention for his terrific direction and nail biting narration.
Final Word:
Phantom is one of the finest films in the recent times. Saif and Katrina at their best. A must watch film for its flawless direction and nail biting narration.
