Big B honored with ANR Award

Bollywood Superstar  Amitabh Bachchan who is a national icon has been bestowed with a prestigious award where he has been chosen for the prestigious ANR National Award for the year 2014. The ANR National Award is a prestigious award instituted by the Akkineni International Foundation in the honor of the legendary South Indian actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao who passed away earlier this year. According to sources, Amitabh agreed to accept this award and this will be awarded to him in Hyderabad. His son Akkineni Nagarjuna who is a known actor is handling the Foundation currently.

Previously, Sridevi, Hema Malini, Lata Mangeskar, Shabana Azmi and Dev Anand are the other eminent Bollywood personalities who were awarded with this prestigious award. As per the sources, Big B has been selected for the award by the jury members and they have sent a letter with the information. Big B was pleased for the award and he accepted it. Big B and Akkineni Nagarjuna have recently been seen in Kalyan Jewellers advertisement. More updates soon.
