Kalki’s Rare Recognition

Kalki Koechlin is undoubtedly one of the talented actresses of Bollywood. She has acted in several off beat films which have received critical reception. She has made her Bollywood debut with Dev D and she has received excellent response for her performance. Later on she has been seen in Shaitan and indagi Na Milegi Dobara which fetched her very good recognition. She has been recently seen  in Saif Ali Khan’s Happy Ending. The talented actress has been seen in Shonali Bose’s ‘Margarita With A Straw’.

In this film, Kalki plays a cerebral palsy affected girl and she has received a rare recognition for her character. Kalki has won the Best Actress Award at Black Nights Film Festival, Tallinn. Kalki who has been very happy shared the news on twitter sharing “Yay!!! ‘The Best Actress went to Kalki Koechlin for her role in “Margarita, with a Straw” (India).’ Black Nights Film Festival Tallinn”. The movie has already received a standing ovation at Toronto International Film Festival . The movie will have a release in India in January 2015.
