Aamir Khan’s PK Controversies

Aamir Khan’s PK which has been released with a huge applause all over is going strong all over the world in the second week of its theatrical run. The movie has received very strong word of mouth and it has collected huge commercial figures. However there have been lots of controversies surrounded by the movie after many Hindu organizations accused that the movie insulted Hindu gods and worshippers. The activists of Bajrang Dal organization have vandalized the theatres in many places in the country claiming that the movie has been made to fool the Hindus.

There are several FIRs lodged on the director Rajkumar Hirani and the producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra that the film has hurt the religious beliefs of many Hindus. However the censor board has clearly mentioned that the movie has passed the censor certification and it cannot be banned. Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma played the main leads in PK which has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani and UTV Motion Pictures. PK has collected huge money and it has crossed 200 crore mark recently and is going strong all over.
