Ever since sensational director Shankar announced the sequel for Robo, the whole country has been eagerly waiting for the film. Rajinikanth is back to board for the lead role and Shankar surprised everyone as he roped in Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar for the lead antagonist’s role. Amy Jackson is the female lead and 2.0 is being made on a massive budget of Rs 350 crores. The makers unveiled the first look of the film in Mumbai and the movie has been in news across the country.

Shankar who has been spending huge amounts of money for the film felt that his makers should recover the entire cost before the film’s release. As per the news from an inside source, Akshay Kumar’s character will dominate the film completely and his performance is said to be the major highlight of 2.0. Akshay will also have enough screen space throughout the film. Even Rajinikanth left Akshay Kumar in praises and Shankar carved out Akshay’s character that will sure impresses the Bollywood audience big time. Produced by Lyca Productions, 2.0 is all set for Diwali 2017 release.
