Anurag takes on Censor Board Again

Anurag Kashyap is undoubtedly one of the most talented filmmakers in the country. He even owns a production house through which he has been producing many innovative films introducing fresh talent. Some of his films turned out to be preys before Censor Board and they suffered massive losses. Anurag Kashyap took it on Censor Board and he made several statements openly. Now during his recent interaction, he made some more.
Anurag Kashyap said “This is completely pointless and meaningless to have a censor board in this modern age where youtube and internet are leading the life. What exactly do they feel and why are they trying to block people? CBFC has been a barrier for many meaningful films and the makers in the country. I honestly have a problem to watch films that have cuts and are rejected by the censor board”. Anurag made these comments at the discussion panel at ongoing FICCI frames 2017.
