Bomb Threat for Ajith’s House
Posted: 09/01/2014 05:09 PM IST
A threat to blow up actor Ajith's residence turned out to be a hoax, after police personnel searched the actor's premises and found it to be absolutely safe. Sources close to the actor said that around 15 police personnel landed at Ajith's residence on Saturday at around 5 am and thoroughly searched the place before declaring the threat a hoax.
Says a source, "In the early hours of August 30, the police control room reportedly received a threat to Ajith. No particular reason was given for issuing the threat. The police swung swiftly into action and silently launched a thorough search operation to ensure that there was no threat to the actor. Ajith was not at home as he was at a night shoot when the police conducted the search. We believe the call must have been made by a prankster or someone in an inebriated state and there is no cause for worry”.
