There's good news for Ilayathalapathy Vijay fans. The actor's upcoming film Kaththi, we hear, is all set to hit screens for Diwali. The director of the film, AR Murugadoss had recently posted on his micro-blogging page that the film's first half was completand he second half was nearing completion.

The shoot for the final schedule is on in full swing. Vijay and Samantha play the lead characters and Anirudh has scored the music for the film. The audio is expected to hit screens on September 18th. Ilayathalapathy Vijay has sung a funky number for Kaththi. He has recorded a song titled Selfie Pulla, composed by Anirudh and written by Madan Karky. However, Vikram’s Ai and Vishal’s Poojai are also in race for Diwali release along with Vijay’s Kaththi.
