Super talented Maniratnam has been struggling to impress the audience as his recent movies could not make any impact at the box-office. Maniratnam who is a specialist in love stories has decided to play safe and is now coming up with a love story. The movie has been titled as OK Kanmani and it features Dulquar Salman, Nithya Menon in the lead roles. The movie has completed shoot recently and is in post production stages. Maniratnam has been quite careful about the movie and he has shot the film for extra working days to get a quality output.

The theatrical trailer of the movie has been released on March 1st and the trailer has impressed big time. Everyone who watched the trailer has just one word to say “Maniratnam is Back”. The trailer has been sensible and romantic with terrific love story. AR Rahman’s wonderful background score has been top notch and PC Sreeram is the cinematographer. The movie has been shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. Maniratnam produced the movie on Madras Talkies banner and the movie will have its grand release in April.
