Rajinikanth’s Robo 2 Updates

Superstar Rajinikanth is currently shooting for his next movie titled Kabali and the shoot is progressing in Malaysia. Ranjith PA is directing the movie and he will be seen as a mafia don in the film. Radhika Apte is the heroine in Kabali and Rajinikanth has given his nod for his next movie which is said to be a sequel for his super hit movie Robo. Shankar who directed Robo will direct the sequel which has been titled as Robo 2. The pre-production work of the movie is currently in process and Rajini will hear the final draft once again in December before the film starts rolling.

As per the latest news the makers are considering Amy Jackson to play the female lead in the movie who has delivered an impressive performance in Shankar’s I. Sources say that the makers are planning to use motion capture technology for some key scenes in the film.Usually referred as MoCap Technology, this feature helps the filmmakers to get more realistic human movements in the films. Earlier, this technology was used in films like Avatar and Kochadiyaan. The regular shoot of Robo 2 will start from January once Rajini wraps up the shoot of Kabali. Lyca Productions will produce the movie and AR Rahman will compose the music.
