Superstar Rajinikanth wrapped up the shoot of his next movie titled 2.0 in the direction of Shankar. The movie is said to be the costliest ever Indian film and is all set to hit the screens during Republic Day next year. The actor is on a break and he will start shooting for his next movie from the end of this month. Rajinikanth after eight years met his fans today and interacted with them. The event took place in Raghavendra Mandapam, Chennai and thousands of his fans attended the event.

Speaking during the event, he said “Please think about your families and prefer to think about them. I request all my fans to stay away from alcohol. I am not feared of anyone. I received many calls threatening and I am not scared of anyone. God knows what to do and I have no plans of politics as of now. If I join politics, I will sure serve the people and I will not take it for earning money. God wanted me to be an actor and I am serving all. My next film will be in the direction of PA Ranjith and it will start rolling from May 28th in Chennai. Dhanush will produce the movie”.
