Six Directors Cameo in Dhanush’s Shamitabh

R Balki created a buzz when he got the legend, Amitabh Bachchan, along with the fantastic actor Dhanush to be a part of his upcoming drama, Shamitabh. While so far, actors have been known to do cameos for their friends in films, Balki, in a first, has roped in six directors (Raju Hirani, Gauri Shinde, Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Anurag Basu) along with the much acclaimed lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar and producers Boney Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor to also do cameos in his film.

They play themselves and no, they are obviously not dancing in the film. They are people who have built stars in their lives and thus, are the best choice for talking about stardom that is required to be done in one part of the film. To get so many stalwarts to agree is no mean task, but only a talented director and a lovely human being as Balki could have managed that, and he has.
