Kavya to join Vikram Prabhu - Vijay’s Film

There's news about director Vijay's next film with Vikram Prabhu. Keerthi Suresh will be making her Kollywood debut with this film. Now, the latest is that Bangalore girl Kavya Shetty will be playing one of the female leads in this film. An excited Kavya says, "Vijay had seen my work and I was asked to meet him. We had a couple of meetings before I was roped in for the film. It is a big team and I am really looking forward to working with them."

On her role, she says, "I am a parallel lead in the film along with Keerthi. I play a college girl and will appear in the flashback portions of the film. I will begin shooting for my portions in Kochi from today." The actress recently did a photo shoot with Vikram. "We had a small workshop and presentation on our roles in the film along with a photo shoot. It was a good experience," she says. Meanwhile, Kavya is also working on the Tamil film Avam, which stars Gaurav in the lead. The film, directed by Vijay Vilakrish, is touted to be a comic thriller.
