Shankar’s I Doing Stunning Business

The craziest film of 2014 Shankar’s I has put the South Indian Film Industry on storm. The expectations have reached peaks after the release of the audio and the trailer. Audio of the Tamil version has been launched recent in Chennai and the songs have topped the chart-busters already. 'I' teaser became the first Tamil film to get 4 million hits on YouTube and the craze is just spreading across the nation. As per our Chennai sources, theatrical rights of I were bought for a whopping amount of 102 cr, which also includes overseas and satellite rights. This is a big amount for a Tamil film and the movie has started to set records already.

Telugu version of 'I' has been bought by NV Prasad and RB Choudhary for 30 crores and the film is expected to hit the theaters across the globe in multiple languages on October 23, 2014. Vikram and Amy Jackson are the lead pair and Suresh Gopi will appear in a pivotal role in the film. PC Sreeram handled the cinematography and AR Rahman is the music director. Aascar Ravichandran is producing 'I' on Aascar films banner. Vikram has worked a lot for the role and he lost weight for one of the characters in the film.
