Kalki and Naseeruddin in Waiting

Kalki Koechlin should be appreciated for her respect and balance to commercial and off beat cinema. Right from the start of her career she has done some interesting films which has received critical acclaim. She has done some commercial movies like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani too which got her Tom Boy image. The latest update is that Kalki is all set to star in Waiting in which Naseeruddin Shah will play the main lead. Even Naseeruddin Shah has been very selective about his roles and he has always done the best for his roles in his movies.

Waiting is based on the story of two individuals who wait in the hospital watching their relatives who are in coma. However slowly there will a bond formed between them. The subject is a serious one which narrates about the life and their aims in life. The movie will be directed by Anu Menon who earlier directed London, Paris, Newyork with Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao. Kalki Koechlin and Naseeruddin Shah have earlier worked for the movie The Girl In The Yellow Boots. Kalki is currently promoting her latest movie Happy Ending which will release next week.
