Pataas is about Kalyan (Kalyanram) who is a corrupted police who wants to take revenge on his father shifts to Hyderabad. He comes to know about the real value of police and the rest of the movie is how he fights against GK (Ashutosh Rana) the evil and removes him from the society.

The first half of the movie has lot of entertainment and the songs have placed in the right place. The first half has been completely entertaining with interval bringing interest.

The second half of the film starts with interest and picks up pace. The whole second half has been racy and maintains the pace till the end. The movie has been highly entertaining till the end with loads of action.

Kalyanram has delivered his career’s best and improved in all the aspects with Pataas. He has been simply superb and lived up in the character of Kalyan. Sruthi Sodhi has been limited and decent for her role. Sai Kumar has been serious and delivered a superb performance. Ashutosh Rana who is selective with his films has taken one more challenging role which makes him sit on the top. Srinivas Reddy and his friends make so much noise which brings the laughs.

The story and the screenplay have been written interesting which elevate the film and the dialogues have been completely entertaining. The music and the cinematography are the highlights of the movie and the production values have been rich. Anil Ravipudi surely need a special mention for his clarity in work and he has been completely successful in delivering a commercial entertainer.

Pataas is a sure shot commercial entertainer with loads of entertainment and explosive action. Kalyanram delivers his best with Pataas which will sure end up as a blockbuster.
