Analysis :
Despite being a Telugu remake, the template is very David Dhawanish, with the rollicking mix of goons and buffoons. David hits his stride with his sublime comedy here. The best thing about the film is that it doesn't takes itself too seriously. The film has its fair share of unsightly and tasteless gags. But, in totality, the film is amusing. - See more at: http://www.wishesh.com/bollywood/bollywood-movie-reviews/35066-main-tera-hero-movie-review.html#sthash.CDlSZ8nY.dpuf
Performance :
Varun Dhawan fights, dances and tries to be funny. But he lacks Govidna's beautiful timing. The effort is evident.
The flimsily-clad Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri tot up as shimmy-shaking- dumb-eye-candy-girls. Sharma is the dumbest of the lotand has the best-delivered line in the film. Singh looks a little lost in this company, like he wandered onto a wrong set. Messers Kher, Shukla and Yadav show up, yell their lines, and drop out.
Final Word:
Worth a watch, if you are fond of crass humor!
