Analysis :
The first half of the film has been quite interesting and narration has pace. The comedy has been entertaining and the songs have been shot and placed well. On the whole with nothing much to speak bad, the first half of the movie has been quite interesting and engaging.
The second half of the film has been interesting at parts and once the twist has been revealed, the movie lacks pace and interest. The second half of the movie has been completely dragged which makes the film lose the impact of a good film.
Performance :
Dhanush who has proved his acting skills has been terrific as usual in the movie. He has carried the film on his shoulders. He has been terrific on screen and he has done all the characters with ease. Amyra Dastur has been a gem and she performed her assigned role to the peaks. She has been simply superb and so is Karthik and Ashish Vidyarthi. Both of them have been decent with the performance which take the film to the next level.
The story of the movie has been quite interesting and so is the screenplay. The director has concentrated well on the movie till the twist has been revealed. Post that the screenplay and the narration have passed out of the track. The music has been superb and so is the background score. The cinematography is an asset for the movie and the production values have been rich and grand. KV Anand has been partly successful in keeping the audience engaged but fails in the last part of the film
Final Word: Anekudu has some good moments to entertain, but the dragged and predictable second half kills the interest. Anekudu can be watched for the performances of Dhanush and Amyra Dastur.
