Mantra 2 Analysis :
The first half of the movie has been decent and interesting without any twists and turns. The songs of the movie have been shot well and the first half brings the feel of the suspense and the interesting episodes that are coming ahead. The complete first half has been ok with entertainments and songs placed well.
The second half of the film which has to be handled quite carefully has not been done so. Some of the moments are quite scary but the rest of the movie has been poorly written and handled. The direction has been below the average line and the director has been completely confused in making the audience frightened. The complete second half is the reason for the downfall of the film.
Mantra 2 Performance :
Charmee who is known for women centric films has delivered an outstanding performance. She has been glamorous and stunning on screen and her performance in the second half has been top notch. Chetan is one more surprising element in the movie and he has been completely impressive. All the other characters have been decent throughout and delivered out their best.
The story of the movie has nothing new to reveal but the screenplay and the dialogues should have been taken more care. The screenplay has not been interesting which made the film completely dip down. The music and the background score have been just ok. The cinematography is an asset for Mantra 2 and the production values have been grand enough. The director failed completely in bringing up an exact suspense thriller.
Final Word:
Except few thrilling scenes in the second half, Mantra 2 has nothing new to watch. A movie that can be ignored completely.
