Jatha Kalise is the story of Rishi (Ashwin Babu) and Tejaswi (Tejaswi) aka Pinky who meet during a marriage. Though they are left unknown, they meet each other in a cab while travelling from Vishakapatnam to Hyderabad. Rishi tries to impress Pinky after which an unknown twist arises which spoils the complete scene. What is the twist? What is the real side of Rishi and Pinky? The first half of Jatha Kalise has been filled with youthful romance and comedy. The entertainment throughout the runtime takes the film to next level because of its freshness. The love story has been narrated with lot of interest and the comedians play the major role in making the audience impressive.

The second half of Jatha Kalise is a complete misfire as the slides over a different track leaving the major plot far behind. The levels of entertainment go down and the movie becomes completely predictable. Jatha Kalise dips badly but the climax gives a relief for the audience though it will not make any difference. On the whole, the second half of Jatha Kalise is a huge shocker after an impressive first half.

Ashwin Babu makes an impact as an actor with Jatha Kalise and his performance throughout the movie has been commanding and impressive. Tejaswi who proved her acting skills got a character that has enough scope to perform. Shakalaka Shankar, Sapthagiri, Snighda and Prudhvi entertain the audience with their comedy timing. All the other actors have been decent with their performances.

The story of Jatha Kalise has nothing much to say. The screenplay and the dialogues have not been concentrated on. The entertainment episodes have been written and presented well. The music and the background score have been quite impressive. The cinematography and editing along with the production values have been fine. Debutant director makes a decent impact with the first half but the second half of Jatha Kalise fails to impress the audience.

Final Word:  Jatha Kalise carries some good entertainment and fresh love story. But the completely dipped second half kills the film completely.
