Vangaveeti Analysis :
The first half of Vangaveeti manages to make some impact at times however the entire first half of Vangaveeti is a poor show that lacks an interesting script. The songs throughout the film act as barriers in the film and the climax episodes make the film interesting. On the whole the first half of Vangaveeti fails to make much impact on the audience.
The second half of Vangaveeti dips down completely and the entire basic plot has been deviated. Most of the episodes look dragged and the climax of the film has been completely simple. The songs once again are unnecessary and the dubbing has been poor. Varma fails to make any impact with Vangaveeti and the film ends up on a below average note.
Vangaveeti Performance :
Sandeep Kumar strikes a chord with his outstanding performance throughout the film. He has been apt and fit as Vangaveeti and his terrific expressions are sure an asset for the film. Vamsi, Naina Ganguly and Shriteja have been apt in their assigned roles. All the other actors have been decent.
The story of Vangaveeti has been taken from the political happenings of Vijayawada during 70s and 80s. Varma failed to use the right ingredients and the screenplay looked ruggish. The dialogues fail to make much impact and the production values have been poor. Ram Gopal Varma once again fails to come out with an interesting script and engaging narration.
Final Word:
Vangaveeti is one more disappointment from Ram Gopal Varma as the film offers nothing much except a boring known documentary.
