Nela Ticket is all about an orphan (Ravi Teja) who is socially responsible and helps all the people around him. He helps the needy and prefers to stay in and around people. In an unexpected clash, he battles with Aditya Bhupathy (Jagapathi Babu), the home minister of the state. Aditya who is greedy of money aspires to turn Chief Minister soon. Nela Ticket fails in all the available ways to impress the audience. The film falls flat right from the first frame and turns out to be a boring feast. The songs are road blockers and they make no impact. They have been placed bad and poorly shot. Except the interval chase, Nela Ticket first half offers nothing. A bunch of comedians have been utterly wasted because of the poor writing skills and the pale entertainment.

The second half of Nela Ticket continues to be pathetic and makes no impact. The songs are a huge disappointment once again. The screenplay has been so bad that the logic goes missing and the episodes show no link between them. The pre-climax episodes make the film worse and Nela Ticket ends on a predictable note. Ravi Teja makes decent impact with his acting skills. He has been energetic throughout and carries the film on his shoulders. Malvika Sharma makes an impressive debut and she has been extremely glamorous. However she looks too young beside Ravi Teja in Nela Ticket. Brahmanandam gets a lengthy role but his episodes have been poorly penned. Jagapathi Babu looks powerful and he essayed the role of Aditya Bhupathy well. Posani Krishna Murali, JP, Prudhvi and others have been wasted completely.

Nela Ticket has a pale plot and reminds us about the 1980s Telugu movies. The screenplay has been penned so badly and the audience rarely finds interesting scenes. The dialogues too have been badly written. The music and the background score fails to make impact. The cinematography looks decent and the production values have been grand. Kalyan Krishna who directed Soggade Chinni Nayana and Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam fails completely in carving out Nela Ticket into a commercial film.
