Prabhu Deva: The King of Remakes

Talented choreographer Prabhu Deva has started his career as a group dancer and slowly turned out to be a choreographer and then actor. He has received very good recognition with his movies in South and he finally made his ways towards direction. He has directed some super hit films in South in which some of them had remake films. However , Tamil movie Pokiri changed his life after which he has received a call from Salman Khan to direct its Hindi version. He has directed his first Bollywood project Wanted starring Salman Khan and Ayesha Takia in the main leads which was a super hit.

After scoring a hit with Salman, he grabbed a chance to direct Akshay Kumar for Rowdy Rathore which happened to be a remake. His last movie R..RajKumar with Shahid Kapoor was a straight film which ended as a flop film at the box-office. His recent directorial Action Jackson which has been released last Friday received poor response at the box-office and is going on its way towards a huge disaster among his films. His career has proved that Prabhu Deva is the king of remakes and he could not taste any success with straight films. Critics have confirmed that Prabhu Deva is the master of remakes but not direct movies.
