Half Girlfriend in Troubles Again

Critically acclaimed filmmaker Mohit Suri scored massive hits with Aashiqqui 2 and Ek Villan which minted huge box-office money. After back to back hits in his career, he came up with Hamari Adhuri Kahani which is said to be an emotional entertainer. Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan played the lead roles in the film which bombed at the box-office.

Mohit Suri is gearing up for his next project Half Girlfriend and the film is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s latest novel with the same name. Mohit and Chetan Bhagat worked on the script and the screenplay along with the dialogues. The complete script work of the movie has been wrapped up some time ago.

The makers brought Sushanth Singh Rajput on board but he walked out as he could not allot the dates because of his other commitments. Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are now playing the lead roles and they have signed for the film some time ago.

The makers have been relaxed as the cast of the film got finalized and the regular shoot of Half Girlfriend has been planned to start from the last week of February. But the latest news we hear is that Arjun Kapoor and Shradda Kapoor are not ready for shoot from February.

Now the regular shoot of the movie has been delayed and it will start from May said a source from the production house. Ekta Kapoor and Shoba Kapoor are producing the movie on Balaji Motion Pictures banner.
