Actor Karthi who is currently busy with his  Kombam movie was hospitalized yesterday due to food poisoning. The star actor suffered from food poison during the film's shoot and immediately rushed to a private hospital in Chennai and was treated for the fever which was caused due to food poisoning. Much to the fans joy, Karthi recovered quickly and posted the below in his official facebook page :

Dear friends!

I had to get admitted in hospital due to food poisoning.Now I am perfectly alright. Thanks for your prayers and support! Eid Mubarak! will be missing the Ramzan Biriyani this year!

Karthi has not scored a box-office with his past few films and they ended up as disasters in both Tamil and Telugu. Karthi is now busy with Kombam and Madras. Few of the films are in discussion stage. Hope Karthi a speedy recovery. More details soon.
