Robo 2 Shooting Updates

Superstar Rajinikanth is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming movie Kabali which is in final stages of shoot. Ranjith PA directed the movie and Radhika Apte is playing the female lead. The final schedule of the movie is being shot in Malaysia which will be wrapped up by February 20th.
Rajini will then join the shoot of Robo 2 once he wraps his work for Kabali. Shankar is directing the film and the shoot of the film started last month in Chennai. A huge set is being erected worth Rs 20 crores in which huge action episodes will be shot. The set is being erected in Poonamallee, Chennai and Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar will participate in the shoot during this schedule. Akshay Kumar is playing the negative lead in the film and Amy Jackson is the heroine in the film.
AR Rahman is the music composer and Lyca Productions are produing Robo 2 which is being made on a budget of Rs 250 crores. The movie will complete shoot and will hit the screens during summer next year.
