Ilayathalapathy Vijay scored massive hits in the recent times and all his recent outings ended up decent at the box-office. He teamed up with AR Murugadoss for a patriotic film titled Thuppakki. The movie went on to be a huge hit and the innovative concept has been well accepted by the audience.

The movie has been remade in Hindi as Holiday starring Akshay Kumar and AR Murugadoss directed the hindi version too. Now the latest we hear is that the plans are on for the sequel. The script work of the movie is currently in process and Vijay will play the lead role in the sequel too.

The surprising thing is that the movie will be shot simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi. Akshay Kumar will play the lead role for the Hindi version and Vipul Shah is working out on the script for the Hindi version. The movie will start rolling next year once Akshay, Vijay and AR Murugadoss wraps up their current commitments. More details soon.
