Sensational director Shankar is quite busy with his next project which has been titled 2.0. Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson are the lead actors in the movie and Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is playing the lead antagonist in the film. The movie is being made on a massive budget and the first look posters created huge buzz on the film. The movie is planned for release during Diwali in 3D in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages.

As per the latest news, the film will be released in 2D, 3D, Imax 3D and IMAX Real 3D format. Shankar is quite keen on Real IMAX 3D format for the film and he hired a special camera on which the film is being shot. The shoot of 2.0 is currently in final stages and Rajinikanth will be seen in three completely different roles. AR Rahman is the music composer and Lyca Productions is producing the film. 2.0 is one of the most awaited films that will release this year.
