Chitrangada Singh Turns Producer

It's a new trend in Bollywood for the actresses turning producers and the list included Ameesha Patel, Preety Zinta, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma. The new actress to join this list is Chitrangada Singh and the latest news is that Chitrangada will produce a sports biopic soon. After her divorce with golf player Jyoti Randhawa, Chitrangada has not been seen often and the actress is busy with the pre production work of the film. The update is that Chitrangada is a close friend of Sandeep Singh who was the Captain of Indian Hockey Team. Chitrangada is currently busy in finalizing the cast and the crew of the untitled movie.

Sandeep Singh, the former captain of Indian hockey team had lot of ups and downs in his life and Sandeep Singh has been in wheel chair for almost 2 years. He has recovered back and he has rejoined the Hockey team. Chitrangada felt that his biopic will be interesting to discuss and narrate and then she bought the rights of his life story. However Sandeep Singh said that he was excited that his life journey will be shot as a film. He also said that the whole country will come to know about the struggles and problems faced by him. The director and other information has not been revealed by Chitrangada Singh. Chitrangda is currently acting with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a film titled Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. Kiran Shyam Shroff and Ashmith Kunder are producing the movie and it has been directed by Kushan Nandy.
