Half Girlfriend Release Date

Talented writer Chetan Bhagat has been successful in transforming his books into movies. All his books ended up as bestsellers in the country after which they have been made into films. Chetan Bhagat started working for the screenplay and the script from 2 States which released in 2014. Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt played the lead roles in the movie which ended up as the biggest blockbuster. Now his next novel Half Girlfriend is under pre-production and Chetan Bhagat teamed up with Mohit Suri for the film. The script work of the movie has been recently wrapped up and the other cast, crew are currently being finalized.

Sushanth Singh has been initially considered for the role but he had a clash of dates for one more project which made him walk out of the film. Arjun Kapoor has been brought on to the board and he is currently busy preparing himself for the role. The regular shoot of Half Girfriend will start from the first week of February and Shraddha Kapoor has been roped in to play the female lead in the movie. Half Girlfriend has been slated for release all over on October 7^th and Ekta Kapoor, Shoba Kapoor will produce the movie on Balaji Films banner.
