Super talented Anushka Sharma has been producing some sensible films on her own banner Clean Slate Films banner. In association with Fox Star Studios, her first outing NH10 has been a smashing hit and now the second project titled Phillauri released last Friday. Directed by Anshai Lal, the movie features Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Prizada in the lead roles. Phillauri is said to be a romantic comedy and Anushka Sharma will be seen as a ghost in the film. The trailer and the posters received exceptional response from the audience.

With a decent release, the movie received positive response from the audience. Though the second half of Phillauri has been dragged, the audience have been thoroughly enjoying Phillauri. With a decent start of Rs 4.02 crores on its first day, the movie witnessed growth over the weekends. The movie minted Rs 5.20 cr and Rs 6.03 cr on Saturday and Sunday. Phillauri made Rs 15.25 crores during its first weekend which has been decent. Phillauri is said to end up as a profitable venture for everyone. Anushka’s performance is being widely discussed all over.
