Sonam kapoor has bagged a film of a lifetime.

The demure beauty has been roped in to star opposite Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya's next.

"We are working on the dates... 99 per cent we will decide about the leading lady in a day or two. Most likely, it is Sonam who is going to act in the film," said a source from Rajshree productions.

The makers of the film originally intended to cast Deepika Padukone for the lead role. However, she couldn't take up the project owing to date issues.

The film is likely tto start rolling from June onwards.

Sonam had previously teamed up with Salman Khan, albeit in a cameo role, in former's debut movie “Saawariya” in 2007.
